Job Summary
The State Primary Health Care Development Agency (SPHCDA) is recruiting passionate and dedicated Community Health Officers to lead primary healthcare initiatives, conduct preventive healthcare programs, and serve as a bridge between communities and healthcare facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver preventive and community-based healthcare services, including immunisation, nutrition, and disease surveillance.
- Conduct health education and awareness programs to promote hygiene, sanitation, and preventive care.
- Monitor disease outbreaks and report findings to appropriate authorities.
- Work closely with local leaders and health teams to improve healthcare access.
- Facilitate referrals to health facilities for higher-level care when needed.
- Perform other duties assigned by the State Primary Health Care Development Agency (SPHCDA)
Qualifications & Requirements
- CHO Certificate from a recognised institution.
- Registration with Community Health Practitioners Registration Board of Nigeria (CHPRBN).
- Current practising licence.
